Biography


Michaela Gyasi-Agyei is an analyst and policy advisor who is interested in the connection between geopolitics, cyber security, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. She holds a Bachelors of Economics/Laws (Honours) from the University of Queensland, and graduated as Valedictorian of her cohort. Her policy paper on Africa-Australia security cooperation has been featured in the Voices of the Future Volume 2 publication, a collaboration between The Australian National University and the Girls Leadership Network. She was selected to participate in the inaugural Asia Pacific Internet Governance Academy (APIGA) Australia, and has been the Africa Fellow for Young Australians in International Affairs. Michaela holds an ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity qualification, and has also completed the Cyber5050 program. She is a member of the Australian Women in Security Network and Women in International Security Australia. Michaela is currently studying a Master of National Security Policy at the Australian National University.
